Summer in Old Ljubljana starts in June and runs through until the end of August, this annual event includes many classical concerts, dance and theatre, during these months Ljubljana also hosts their annual three-day Jazz Festival. You will find restaurants to suit every mood and pocket, from Traditional ‘gostilna’ Inns serving simple Slovene food to swish French restaurants serving haute cuisine.
You will find interesting boutiques, galleries, museums, beautiful gardens and even a zoo! Being located almost at the centre of Slovenia it is also very easy to make Ljubljana your base and take day trips to the lakes and mountains, Postonja Caves and even the Lipizzaner Stud Farm in Lipica.
