tourism, the owners have to meet various criteria and the main one is to
be a genuine working farm!
We know the tourist farms personally and have chosen them carefully to offer you the chance to see the real country and meet friendly, hospitable Slovene families.
Tourist
farms offer bed and breakfast or half-board accommodation. Some also have
self-catering apartments. Most rooms will have ensuite facilities (usually
shower, WC and wash hand basin). Evening meals at farms will be homemade
traditional Slovene dishes and are served a set time (ish).
Most tourist farms will have animals to tend and most farmers are more than happy to accept a helping hand from their guests. They will also point you in the right direction to collect local delicacies like wild mushrooms and fruits
