The locations we have selected for our our Slovenia historical trail holidays offer a mix of regional, cultural and historical interest. Starting in the Soca valley to the west of the country, moving to the Skofija Loka Hills just to the west of Ljubljana, and finally exploring one of the oldest towns in Slovenia, Ptuj.

the Topli Val. Situated in the centre of Kobarid and close to the banks of the
Soca River, the Hvala Hotel offers a great location and excellent food.

Loka Hills: bed and breakfast
This 700-year-old farm stands on top of a hill near the medieval town
of Skofija Loka. At Podmlacan you can enjoy its famous home cooking
and to build up a worthy appetite guests can explore the many trails
in the area by foot or bike. The owners will also help guests arrange
fishing and horse riding in the area.

and dates back to 1870. Its great location is perfect for exploring the town's
galleries, museums and two main squares Mestini trg and Slovenski trg. In the
