Dolina and Upper Savinja Alps are some of the most beautiful and unspoilt
areas in Slovenia. Beautiful glacially formed valleys are surrounded by
the peaks of the Kamnik and Savinja Alps. The forests, meadows, ancient
churches, small villages and traditional farmhouses give this region its
character. Logarska Dolina is a regional park as are the neighbouring valleys
of Robanov Kot and Golte. Cars and motorbikes have to pay to enter the
parks – cyclists and hikers get in free. Activities available in the area
are hiking, rock climbing, paragliding, horse riding, white water rafting,
cross country skiing, sledging and frozen waterfall climbing.
