Grand Hotel Union
Built in 1905, when it was the tallest building in Ljubljana, the Grand Hotel Union has hosted many famous international dignitaries – Bill and Hilary Clinton stayed here in 1999 and our own Queen Elizabeth stayed during a visit to Slovenia in in 2002.
The original Art Nouveau decoration has been preserved in the Union Hall and in the Main Lobby of the hotel. The hotel is large, with 194 rooms, and there is also a good-sized indoor swimming pool, as well as a sauna and fitness centre in the adjacent uHotel. The Union Cafe, with its delicious range of teas and cakes, has always been a popular venue for locals and also hosts theatrical productions and concerts.
This is another ideal hotel for clients who have want to stay centrally for their time in Ljubljana and guests will be impressed with the wide range of facilities available, including full internet and WiFi services.
